Brenda was heavily addicted to drugs including meth, marijuana and pain pills for over 25 years. She also suffered from mental illnesses such as manic bipolar and schizophrenia that kept her in and out of mental facilities and dependent on drugs like Xanax. Little did she understand that her family history rooted in freemasonry had cursed her life before she was ever born. Even though Brenda was raised in a strong Pentecost church in a small town in Louisiana, their harsh religious doctrine along with the abusive upbringing she endured eventually led her away from God and straight into drugs at the age of 13.
As she stayed numb in her sinful life, she began to lose her mind and walk the streets homeless, sometimes waking up days later after the high wore off, unaware of who she was and where she was. Eventually, the heavy drug use ended her up in a psychiatric ward. The bible says the wages of sin is death and she was at death's door. After an overdose that literally took her life until she was brought back to life by a medical team, she realized that even though the devil wanted her dead, God had another plan. She screamed out to Jesus to save her from her sin and rebellion that led her into her self-destructive life-style and He did. In an instant she felt something leave her body and she began to speak in tongues. She was instantly delivered from the drug addictions and mental illness that plagued most of her life.
As she continued to seek God with everything she had, He led her straight to Mountain Movers where she continues to receive biblical knowledge and training in deliverance in order to minister to women who desire to encounter a faithful and loving God. Her entire passion and desire is to help women, find and reach their calling. Brenda has a strong agape love for people of any age and background. She thanks God every day for the privilege of being alive in order to serve women who are a part of Mountain Movers!
