Prior to my deliverance call with Melissa, I had been feeling heaviness that would not go away. This feeling has been ongoing my entire life. I have been persistently learning about and experiencing self deliverance since my first one-on-one with Melissa in March of 2021.
Deliverance is a daily activity and as wonderful as it is, also not easy nor comfortable at times, however I finally have the answers to the inner pain I’ve carried since I was 25, I am now 54. On August 2, 2022 I really got to see the fruits of my self deliverance in a big way. As Melissa and I were talking, she noticed some pictures on the wall behind me in my prayer area; things like a cross, pictures of dead relatives, a ceramic pig, some African wax pictures, and other things I found fitting for my prayer area. She asked me to scan my prayer area; as I did, the Holy Spirit spoke through her regarding the dark spirits of these objects. Even though I had cleaned out my home, I surely missed a very important area and yet to find it is totally demonic. I felt blind! - I was at the end of my road with all things demonic so I cleaned out the entire space while Melissa was on camera. After we started talking again, the Holy Spirit came upon me hard and I started weeping uncontrollably.
Melissa stepped back and let the Holy Spirit minister to me without her. I repented, asked Him for forgiveness, cried out from the depths of my soul, praised God, and thanked Him for things He brought to my mind. I coughed up mucus, blew out snot and peed. Melissa was checking on me from time to time and then, after an hour I finally realized she had already exited the call.
The Holy Spirit revealed to Melissa that I needed to do a 7-day water fast to break off the yoke of altars made within my family, where there was lots of witchcraft. Also, my husband and I are working on saving our marriage and a fast would help. Fast forward to day 4 of the fast, I have experienced other deliverances with the Holy Spirit while listening to anointed praise and worship music.
I am so grateful to have partnered with God to do the heavy lifting with my deliverance journey and to help me with a fast that I have desired since 2013. This hasn’t been an easy journey but it is worth it; my family is still hurting but God's mercy and grace is all over us. I often hear that His Word never fails and I know my new fasted life will be a complete game-changer to really believe that.
